Turning pain into beauty, this artwork represents a personal journey of overcoming escapism, addiction and negative habits. Containing zircon, this work encourages a person to ground in the moment, feeling safe enough to face the emotions that drive them towards wanting to escape the reality of the present. When a person can allow emotions to surface, they can be felt, released through non-attachment and the desire to escape can pass by. Cycles of destructive habits can be broken and goals can become manifest.
